    Here is a report from the Colorado Department of Human Services for child abuse reporting stating that calls to the child abuse and neglect hotline system have dropped by more than 50% during the COVID-19 outbreak. We can assume this not unique to Colorado and that these cases are still occurring and in some instances getting worse and children may now be in more stressful home environments. It is important not to forgot some of our most vulnerable students during these times.
